FORT LAUDERDALE — Italian yachting heritage has found a new home on land. Riva Residenze is unveiling its new Sales Gallery during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, taking place October 28 through November 1, 2026.
Located just one block from the boat show, the gallery offers prospective buyers an introduction to Riva's first residential development. Designed by Italian architect and yacht interior designer Giuseppina Arena, the space draws inspiration from the understated sophistication of the brand's celebrated yacht lounges.
With more than 180 years of history, Riva has established itself as one of the most recognizable names in luxury yachting. Now the Ferretti Group brand is extending that heritage into residential real estate along Fort Lauderdale's Intracoastal Waterway.
From the Yacht Deck to the Living Room
Inside the Sales Gallery, visitors are welcomed into a dedicated Riva lounge furnished by Italian design company Formitalia. Private meeting areas provide a setting for prospective buyers to explore floor plans, architectural details and interior finishes.
Perhaps the most distinctive feature is the opportunity to conduct private sales appointments aboard a 66-foot Riva Ribelle docked at the gallery's private boat slip. Prospective purchasers can even finalize their residence purchases aboard the yacht, continuing a longstanding tradition associated with the yachting world.
"We wanted visitors to feel as though they were stepping aboard a Riva yacht, rather than entering a traditional sales gallery." Fernando de Nuñez y Lugones, Co-Founder and CEO, Vertical Developments
"Fort Lauderdale is known as the Venice of America, so there's a natural connection between the city, its yachting culture and what we're creating with Riva Residenze. The gallery is the first introduction to that experience," de Nuñez y Lugones added.
36 Residences, 20 Stories
Developed by Vertical Developments and WellDuo, Riva Residenze will comprise just 36 residences across 20 stories, creating an intimate residential environment along one of South Florida's most desirable waterfront corridors.
The two- to six-bedroom residences are priced from $3.5 million. Architecture is by internationally acclaimed firm Arquitectonica, led by Bernardo Fort-Brescia, with interiors by Giuseppina Arena.
The project also includes a planned private marina with six yacht slips, accommodating vessels up to 60 feet according to the development announcement.
Italian Design at Every Turn
Arena's approach carries the recognizable elements of Riva yacht design into the residential environment. Aquamarine accents, carefully stitched leather details and flooring inspired by teak yacht decks create a direct visual connection to life at sea.
A rooftop infinity pool takes its inspiration from the beach club aboard the Riva 54Metri superyacht. Residents will also enjoy a sky lounge with a private cinema, wine room and library.
Additional planned amenities include a resort-style pool deck and an expansive wellness center with sauna, steam room and private spa suite.
"Riva has always been about more than building yachts. Our Riva Destinations have given owners and enthusiasts a way to enjoy the brand in settings beyond the water." Valerio Venturelli, Managing Director, Riva Classiche & Brand Experience, Ferretti Group
Venturelli explained that the Fort Lauderdale gallery continues the company's approach to extending the Riva experience beyond its vessels, introducing guests to an environment that reflects the character of its yachts and international hospitality spaces.
A New Chapter for Fort Lauderdale
For the development team, the project represents more than another luxury condominium offering. It marks the first residential partnership with one of Italy's most historic yacht manufacturers.
"To create the world's first yacht-branded residences with Riva, one of the most iconic names in Italian yachting, is an extraordinary opportunity." Eduardo Pelaez Romer, Co-Founder, WellDuo
Pelaez Romer noted that generations of Italian craftsmanship and attention to detail have defined the Riva name, and that the development team intends to bring those same standards to waterfront residential living in Fort Lauderdale.
The result is intended to appeal to an international audience already familiar with Riva's heritage, as well as buyers seeking a boutique waterfront property in a city closely associated with boating and the marine industry.
The Sales Gallery Experience
Private appointments are available through the development's in-house sales team, led by Sales Director David Cook alongside sales associates Lenzey Alanis and Amy Carpenter.
